In 1962 the WADE program came into being, Weapon and design element. It was based on a crashed spaceship in
the Nevada desert, around Wilderness Quinn Canyon. The spaceship was mostly intact but old and painted with
Goshute warning painted on it. Clearly the native American's had explored it and found danger. Ignoring
the warning US Marshall Beverly Perkins, climbed through the wreckage and found several places corpus had
touched exposed wires and perished. Avoiding those and working her way forward she found the bridge. Much
like later day sci fi it had a helm and several stations situated in around it. Having never seen a TV much
less a computer, she had no idea what to make of it.
So she called into the FBI who sent out two agents. These agents having worked with DARPA figured it was a
prank in bad taste. So they got in an agency car and drove west, from the 270 to the 70, stopping over night
in Columbus, Ohio. From there to St. Louis, Missouri. Catching the 44 from there to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
From there on 40 to Tucumcari, New Mexico. The next day along the 40 to Flagstaff, Arizona. From there to
Kingman, AZ where they caught the 93 to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Reporting in to the Nevada Office at ten in the morning they meet with Marshall Perkins and demand to know
what the hell is actually going on. It has taken us six days to get here and who knows how long it took the
mail to get the photographs we got at the head office. Marshall Perkins says I was investigating a mysterious
object a miner found in Quinn Canyon. It is a protected wilderness area so the miner shouldn't have been
looking to mine there, but no the less I found what looks like a beached submarine. I have no idea how it got
there but it is painted with faded Goshute warnings about spirts and inside it looks like the natives got into
wiring and it left blacked corpses that are old bones at this point so it has been there a while. I almost did
not go further in when I found the first body but if one person stumbled across it more will likely do so
from the stories when that first miner gets drunk and needs a story to tell. He is currently in a safe house
down town didn't want to put him in a cell and have others when they find stuff like this keep their mouths
shut. Agent Smith says that was mouthful. So have you ever seen a submarine? Marshall Perkins says I saw some
in Baltimore while I doing my training in DC. So then you know it really does not look like a submarine.
Marshall Perkins says it is metal all over and over a thousand feet long but it does not look like a ship
with a ruder and pointed keel. So a sub was the best I could come up with.
